Christmas BMJ!

Beyond all the research articles you’re used to seeing, the BMJ put out hilarity every Christmas – the urine output of ICU residents compared with their patients, or a randomised controlled trial of parachutes. This issue is equally awesome.

For the orthopods that are sick of being told that ‘there is a fracture; I need to fix it’, check out this article that proves that maybe they are smarter than anaesthetists after all.

If you’ve been told the ‘obs are stable’…probably have another look.

The people who make the guidelines should have a taste of their own medicine.

Finally, a little Australian data, can you really outrun death?

Always good to have a bit of fun. We’re going to take a bit of a break over the Christmas period. Hope you’ve enjoyed the articles from 2011.
