The short end of the stick

Needlesticks. They’re not fun in terms of the stick themselves, and then when it slowly dawns on you how serious it can be, a little panic sets in as you wander down to the ED. If you’re the doctor in ED looking after one of your fellow residents, do you know how to look after them properly?

JAMA this month has a nice Clinical Crossroads looking at this, with a clinical vignette on an injury and the management taken. The answer to the whole thing will come tomorrow.
